We offer English language courses for all ages from 12 years to adults, and for all levels and abilities. The English language lessons are taught by experienced and qualified teachers. Most importantly, the lessons are interesting, varied and very, very enjoyable. The activities and excursions are great, too!

With exams getting closer, English in England at Easter is an excellent way to help improve your grades. What could be better than ‘living and breathing’ the language for 2 weeks. From getting-up in the morning until bedtime, you will be immersed and surrounded by English. As your confidence grows, so your knowledge and skills increase, and those exams won’t seem as daunting!

The language school is located in Torquay town centre. English lessons take place between 09:00-10:30 & 11:00-12:30 each weekday morning, making a total of 15 hours of English language tuition each week. The class sizes are between 10-15 students per class. All students take an assessment test on the first morning to ensure they are placed in the correct class. On completion of a course, students receive a report from their teacher and a certificate. We also offer intensive English language courses of 30 hours per week, and we can offer private one-to-one tuition. If you have any special requests, please contact us and we will do our very best to help you.

All of our English language courses include an excursion and activity programme. Excursions are arranged to Dartmoor, Dartmouth, Plymouth, Exeter and Brixham. The weekly programme includes, in addition to the excursions, three sports or activity afternoons per week. Each week, we offer up to 2 alcohol free disco evenings at the International Student Disco. Transportation is arranged back to the host family, after the disco, for younger students. We also offer an evening programme for the 18+ students.
Accommodation is included in the course fees. Students stay in carefully selected host families who provide breakfast, packed lunch and an evening meal. Staying with a host family ensures you are fully immersed into the English way of life and is a great contibrution to your overall experience! If you already have accommodation in Torquay and would just like to have English lessons or English lessons and the activity and excursion programme, that's no problem.
